There is music in every child. The teacher’s job is to find it and nurture it
— Frances Clark

Music is a language that allows many people from different backgrounds to connect. Teaching music not only helps the students develop their talents as musicians, but also helps strengthen their skills in personal responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance. A student doesn’t have to be an expert at their respective instrument to appreciate the background and cultural impact of music. Every student will be welcome to explore the vast world of music and take away knowledge that will help them enjoy music even more. Music can be an outlet after a long day of mental work and little sense of accomplishment.  Music has become a daily part of life in our world, and I would like to teach my students how to appreciate it even more. My philosophy is that music is all inclusive and every student should learn how to appreciate this common language.
